Ana Maria Madrid has a bachelor's degree in fine arts with an emphasis in sculpture from the University Of Sonora in Sonora, Mexico. She has a masters degree in education by the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Madrid has painting and sculpture studies from the Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. During this time she had the opportunity to take advanced and intensive courses in painting, stone sculpting and glass blowing with renowned artists and professors such as Mille Guldbeck and Shawn Morin. In addition, she participated in a film-making workshop at the New York Film Academy in New York City as well as an advanced course in Art Business in Casa Lamm, Mexico City. Her work has been presented in a variety of group exhibitions including three solo exhibits; "Intimate immensity" 2013, "Among the Clouds" 2014 and "Percepto" 2015.
